Question: What is normal temperature for a pregnant woman?

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) recommends that pregnant women never let their core body temperature rise above 102.2 degrees Fahrenheit. (A pregnant womans body temperature is often already elevated around 0.4 degrees above the normal 98.6.)

Is temperature during pregnancy normal?

Research suggests that about one-third of pregnant women will get a fever at some point, and the majority deliver healthy babies. But while its possible to get a fever any time throughout your pregnancy, a high fever in the first weeks of pregnancy may be more risky than a flu later on.
